Essential cookies
Yield Yardstick sets one session cookie when you use our contact form. It exists solely to verify that a submission genuinely came from our form (a security measure against forged requests) and expires automatically. We don't use it to track you across visits or sites.
No advertising or tracking cookies
We do not currently use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or analytics cookies.
Local storage (not a cookie, but related)
When you save a comparison to your favorites, we use your browser's local storage — a different mechanism from cookies — to remember your selections and filter preferences. This data stays on your device, is never sent to our servers, and can be cleared at any time using the "clear my saved data" button found on the library and comparator pages, or through your browser's own settings.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Since our only cookie is essential to the contact form, blocking it may prevent that form from submitting correctly, but will not affect your ability to browse comparisons or use the comparator.
